Terms of Service

Article 1 (Scope)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the AI service safety assessment platform "AI Assess" ("Service") provided by Volta Networks Co., Ltd. ("Company"). By using the Service, all users ("Users") are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (Service Overview)

1. The Service automatically collects and analyzes publicly available information from AI service providers (Vendors) and provides assessment results from security and compliance perspectives.
2. The Service provides reference information based on publicly available vendor information and does not constitute legal advice, certification, or warranty.
3. Assessment results are generated through automated processes and their accuracy and completeness are not guaranteed.

Article 3 (Accounts)

1. Users shall register accounts with accurate and current information.
2. Users are responsible for properly managing their account credentials, including passwords.
3. The Company may suspend accounts without prior notice if unauthorized use is discovered.

Article 4 (Fees)

1. The Service offers a Free plan and paid plans (Pro: ¥9,800/month excl. tax / Enterprise: custom pricing).
2. Paid plan fees are as displayed on the Service. Payment is processed via credit card through Stripe, Inc.
3. Paid plans auto-renew monthly on the same date as the subscription start date.
4. Cancellation is available anytime via the Stripe customer portal. After cancellation, the Service remains accessible until the end of the current billing period.
5. No prorated refunds are provided. Paid fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

Article 5 (Prohibited Activities)

Users shall not engage in the following activities:

1. Using or displaying assessment results as certification or warranty to third parties
2. Mass automated collection (scraping) of Service data
3. Compromising or attempting to compromise the security of the Service
4. Registering false information
5. Infringing on the rights of other Users or third parties
6. Activities that violate laws or public order

Article 6 (Intellectual Property)

1. Intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Company or its rightful owners.
2. Copyright of assessment results and AI-generated commentary belongs to the Company.
3. Users may use assessment results for personal and internal business use. Commercial redistribution is prohibited.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

1. The Company makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, currency, or usefulness of assessment results.
2. The Company bears no responsibility for decisions made by Users based on assessment results.
3. The Service is not intended as a substitute for penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, legal compliance assurance, or certification body functions.
4. The Company is not liable for Service unavailability due to force majeure events including natural disasters, system failures, or third-party attacks.

Article 8 (Service Changes and Termination)

1. The Company may modify the Service without prior notice.
2. The Company may terminate the Service with 30 days' notice.

Article 9 (Amendment of Terms)

The Company may amend these Terms at any time. Amended Terms take effect upon posting on the Service. For material changes, Users will be notified via registered email or Service announcement.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
