Claiming Your Listing

If your AI service is already listed on AI Assess, you can claim ownership to manage your listing, submit evidence, and respond to reviews.

1. Find your service on the registry and navigate to its detail page.
2. Click the "Claim this vendor" button.
3. Verify your identity by confirming ownership of the service's official domain. You will be asked to verify using an email address on your company domain.
4. Once verified, you will be granted vendor_admin access.

Editing Your Profile

After claiming your listing, you can update your vendor profile from the Vendor Dashboard.

• Service description: Explain what your service does and who it is for.
• Logo: Upload your service logo for display on the registry.
• Official URL: Confirm or update your service's primary URL.
• Contact information: Add a security contact or general inquiry address.

Profile changes are reflected immediately. However, changes to the official URL may trigger a re-evaluation.

Submitting Evidence

You can improve your transparency score by submitting evidence URLs — links to pages on your official domain that demonstrate your policies and practices.

What counts as evidence?

• Privacy policy
• Terms of service
• Security page or trust center
• Data processing agreement (DPA)
• Subprocessor list
• Status page URL
• Certification documentation

How to submit

1. Go to your Vendor Dashboard.
2. Select the product you want to update.
3. Click "Add Evidence" and enter the URL.
4. Select the evidence type (e.g., privacy policy, security page).
5. Submit. The URL will be automatically fetched and analyzed.

Responding to Reviews (Pro)

Vendors on the Pro plan can respond to user reviews. This gives you the opportunity to address feedback, provide context, or thank users for positive reviews.

1. Go to the review section of your product's detail page.
2. Click "Reply" on the review you want to respond to.
3. Write your response and submit.
4. Your response will go through moderation before being published.

Responses are labeled as "Official Response" so users can distinguish them from regular reviews.

Trust Badge Widget

Claimed vendors can embed a trust badge on their website to showcase their transparency score. The badge updates automatically as your score changes.

How to embed

1. Go to your Vendor Dashboard.
2. Click "Get Badge" for the product you want to showcase.
3. Copy the provided HTML snippet.
4. Paste it into your website's HTML.

Badge styles

• Standard: Shows score and color rating
• Compact: Minimal badge with score only
• Dark/Light: Choose a theme that matches your site

The badge links back to your listing on AI Assess, allowing visitors to verify your score independently.
