What is AI Assess?
AI Assess is a transparency evaluation platform for AI services. We apply a consistent 33-item evaluation framework to thousands of AI vendors, covering data handling, security, operations, AI governance, and compliance.
All evaluations are based on publicly available information — vendor websites, terms of service, privacy policies, and security pages. This ensures objectivity: the same criteria are applied equally to every vendor.
How to Read Scores
Each vendor receives a transparency score (trust_pct) that represents the percentage of 33 evaluation items the vendor publicly discloses.
Certifications
When a vendor has certifications like SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, or ISO 42001, related evaluation items are automatically marked as satisfied. Certification status is detected from public pages and trust portals.
Inferred Compliance
Certain certifications imply compliance with specific security and governance practices. For example, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 implies encryption, access control, monitoring, incident response, and change management. These items are automatically satisfied when the certification is confirmed.
Creating an Account
- Click "Sign Up Free" in the top-right corner of any page.
- Enter your email address and set a password, or sign up with Google.
- A one-time verification code will be sent to your email. Enter the code to complete registration.
- You can start browsing scores and evaluations immediately.
No credit card is required for the Free plan. You can upgrade at any time from your account settings.
